New truck in the north of Colombia
The programme in Colombia is growing: right from the start of our work in Colombia, it was clear that a single mobile vision centre would not be enough to meet the demand for free eye tests and high-quality but affordable glasses. Colombia's first mobile vision centre is working at full capacity with eye camps in the centre of the country.
Natalia Buitrago, Head of GoodVision (Colombia), and Mack Rua, who manages the programme in northern Colombia, set about planning the expansion and financing of the second truck. With great success: the two were able to take delivery of the second mobile vision centre a month earlier than planned and start the first vision tests in November 2023.
